Hi folks,

Stumbled on some few WWG at good prices:

Tiger Double Dragon still sealed:

That's it for now.

John: You should add another category in the main forum like: "Ebay Bargains & Rants". Just the name "Ebay" triggers many things...LOL! ;)

HI.
Not bad on that Double Dragon. I have watched values on many of those drop dramatically over the past year. I'd say this is a pretty good deal!

As for the Shitxu, I think that's one I saw a year ago. Maybe the same guy. If so he's been trying to sell that for a loooong time. He started price very high, like $200. He's been inching down ever since.

Poor Batman watches. Probably the most common Tiger watch.

I got a Texas HoldEm for someone last Christmas, my son I think. I think I paid like $6.

Thanks for posting!

No problemo amigo! ;)

The Tiger WWG looks very nice and the gameplay is OK but damn that those watches are made CHEAP!! I brought my Double Dragon in a flea market long ago still brand new and after i've unpacked it, one of the band fell off because the hinge of the casing broke. So what i did is that i glued the band with the piece of plastic. Since then it still holds together.

Same thing happened to the Simpsons watch i had but this one i traded it with the hinge broken.

Do you collect also variations ? Because the Texas HoldEm has three different packages: One is oval with playing cards, the two others are rectangular but one comes with a round keychain and the other comes with four coasters. And at the prices there going, it's worth collecting them.

About the Shitzu, the seller lives in Argentina and i saw a WWG he was selling just a few days ago. When i saw it, my jaw almost dropped to the floor...no! It can't be! No way! In more than 15 years of collecting, this was the very first time i ever saw this WWG. So i've brought it!!! Until i get it in my hands, i won't tell which is it (a new proverb for WWG collectors: don't brag until you have it! lol!).

I also saw many WWG that i have never seen before on an Argentinian web site that were released by Tressa, Jaugar, Pomar and Shitzu. Looks that the Argentinian had some brands only for them. South America still has some mysteries to be discovered!

Oh and here's another "Upay" sighting: Nelsonic Star Fox for $9.99 (this one came with the Kellogg cereals):
http://www.ebay.com/itm/320960308107?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649

And here's a Nelsonic Q*Bert sold for parts or repair for $9.99:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/140820978327?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649

At the prices the're going, it's a steal! :)

Ah man. Your not gonna make me wait are ya. Now I gotta know!

Yea. I collect a few variations. I don't have the casino one because it's too new. I try mostly for the older and rarer ones.

Sorry John, the seller told me that it will take between 2 to 4 weeks to be delivered so until it gets here, i won't tell or brag. ;)
BUT...i'll give you a small hint: It is based on a popular arcade game in 1982. ;)

That is the best of time to collect the new ones since they are going for a few bucks, if you wait too long, you won't find them in near mint/mint condition and the prices will go up eventually. But older and rarer one also are going up in prices (sigh) and becomes rarer with time.

Sigh...i miss the old days around 2000-2001 on Upay when there were so many WWG going between $5 to $20, any kind of WWG and even prototypes (accept for the Casio ones, they went from $20 to $100 back then). They were a lot less watch collectors a decade ago too.

Nope! This game came out in 1978. ;)

Asteroids?

Again nope! Asteroids came out in 1979. But your getting closer to the year...lol! ;)

I think I saw a prototype for that one (Nixon)

The Asteroids Game Watch has a homebrew made by John Maushammer in 2007.

The homebrew for Nixon were "Pong" and "Tetris" designed by Lysandre Follet in 2007 also.

And yes. I know I'm bugging you...lol.

You're not bugging me at all John! In fact, i want you to discover which game it is. When you'll find out, you won't believe me!
Even electronic handheld collectors will want it. ;)

Need another hint ?

Hi.
Ah...

Sure. I'd love another hint!
Is it on this page?

PS. And those are cool Nixon's. If they released them then maybe, just maybe, we can get out of the shadow of the "Awesome 80's"

Ok, here's a hint: It's not listed in the link since the page talks about "home video games" and not arcade games.
But you're getting warmer. ;)

I completely agree with you, those would have been  if Nixon had released them. The designer did a heck of a great job with the watches but Nixon scrapped the idea (sigh).
