Donkey kong watch 20 years old now!

One of the later retro watches but has reached 20 years old!
This brings me to John's corn flake box offer?
It is likely the version shown on the box was a prototype,some may exist somewhere?
Why did they change this to the current version we see now? I ask this because the version on the box is much more true to the original game! a classic game rivalling space invaders and pac-man imho.

Totally agree. If you're ever in New York, stop by to the Nelsonic company. They have a small watch museum.
Maybe they "might" know ?

I love the Kong!
I wrote to Nelsonic over a year ago Slydc,I never got a reply!
If any of you guys get the chance to visit? some history on WWG's would be invaluable!

What I meant above?
The Donkey kong watch is geared more towards one of the higer levels of the Argade game!
Level1 was the more simple sloping platforms! jungle kong closer to this or say? Nintendo Game and watch-Donkey kong!
The donkey kong watch is pretty tough! lol

Well i was in Las Vegas 3 weeks ago. Only thing worth mentioning was the Pinball Museum...not too shaby.

As for NY, it's about a 6 hour drive from where i live. I will try to visit Nelsonic next time i'm around NY.
(Damn the Jersey Pike...ARRGGHH!!!!)
