The Casino Game watch, Is it meant to be disposable?

    HI.
Here's the game watch of the day. The Casino game watch. It a really cheaply made watch. Remove the screws from the back one time and they might strip out the plastic. Inside seems as if it was made to be disposable. I had to bend metal tabs to change batteries. Since it has 2 batteries running in parallel voltage this would make them last much longer as the drain is divided by 2. THe game is actually ok and it has 5, count em 5!, different card games. All in all a cheapo watch that doesn't have too much value as I type this but at least it is one in the collection to make the collection more complete.
I would probably appraise this new in package, today, to be worth only about $20 dollars or so.
    Enjoy the pics.

    Hi John,

Might be very true that those were meant to be disposable after the batteries have died since these were sold at Wal-Mart's for $14.95.
I had the chance to buy x5 of them 3 years ago at a great liquidation price. That's Wal-Mart for you: cheap prices = cheap products!

But it's great to see the guts of this one since i never open one before.

Hah! Just purchased one of these. I bought just because I didn't have it. Like John said "Just to make the collection complete."

    HI.
I haven't seen one for a while on eBay. Well I think one but it was expensive.

It's been sitting for a while. I knew the battery (s) where slowly dying as I watched the display get dimmer and dimmer. I finally cracked open the plastic and removed it. The batteries were not dead but since they where really cheap ones they started to corrode already. I think I got to it in time. I saved it!

    Hi.
You know one of the craziest things about this watch.
I removed both batteries and it stayed running for at least 2 minutes, maybe longer. I never seen that before!

    Hiya!

Sorry for not being here for quite some time, been busy as hell.

@Z3ldanator: Indeed my friend, it's the time (err...pun half intended) to get those WWG while there are cheap because in a
couple of years, they will be more rarer (and vintage) and prices will go up. When you'll see those watches on Upay, think about
an Elvis Presley song: "It's now or never!" ... lol!

@John (GWG): That can be explained: You have two electric condensor (a blue and a black cylinder) in the watch and those
have two purposes: filter voltage peeks and store voltage. So when you pull out the batteries, both condensors takes time to
discharge to 0 volts. This would be great for the Burger Time watch since it keeps the highest score, this way i would have the
time to change the battery without losing the high score.
